New York New Markets

Our first community development venture capital fund in the United States is New York New Markets. Our fund will bring the approach of traditional venture capital to the goals of job creation and economic development in "distressed" communities in New York City. (A "distressed" community is defined by the U.S. Census Tract as one in which 20% or more of the residents earn incomes below the poverty level.) Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP is our legal counsel for the fund.
